Intentional Shepherding

• Shepherding through small groups allow one adult to build a personal relationships with   5 - 15 children.
• To give personal attention to every child and help them feel a warm sense of belonging to their church family.
• Small groups that allow us to be aware of the personal and family needs of every child.
• To help children understand that God's Word (the Bible) is relevant and that growth in Bible knowledge results in positive changes in attitudes, actions and life-style.
• To help the child grow in his/her relationships with other believers.
• To support the family in their responsibility for the spiritual nurturing and growth of their children.

Safe Learning Environment

• To provide a safe, secure, loving environment for children.
• To provide a healthy environment.
• Classes with child-adult ratios that meet appropriate standards.
• Classrooms that provide and maintain safe equipment.
